Location. Continental Breakfast. Some of the staff.
The elevator kept going out. The toilet wouldn't always flush. The hot water worked sometimes. Guests were not allowed upstairs. The dust made it difficult to breathe and the air conditioners were not cleaned in years. The infrastructure of the hotel needs upgrades, fixing, and repairs or else it will crumble.
Excellent for a 2 star hotel. I am a teacher and I traveled with 7 students to Havana. All our rooms were renovated, clean, new television and air conditioner. Breakfast in the morning was great, especially the great omelettes, prepared to your liking. Wonderful neighbourhood, across from the university, many restaurants to choose from. This is my 2nd year in a row at the Colina, great service and a very accommodating manager who deals with any issue you might have.
Customer service awful, there is a humidity smells like cat urine, the water pressure wasn't great also very poor cleanliness the towels were supposed to be white but the color was gray and cream next time I travel to Cuba I'll stay in a private home, I am sure they are going fulfill my expectation.
Clean and good buffet breakfast.
Not able to bring guest. I find this ludicrous. Hotel wanted to charge outrageous fee.
The bathroom is clean and good! The staff should go to other counties to learn and receive the training over how to improve customer service. Generally, the hotel was OK!
The bed sheet was not changed for 8 days!!! It was not clean, but OK. The receptionists were not smiling, not enthusiastic about their job.
Variety and offer of the breakfast.
Dirty bedsheets. Dirty towels. No warm water in the hotel.
The biggest lesson learned from this stay is to heed negative reviews. They are not just written from jaded westerners. There are better options in the price point and much better if willing to go up in price point slightly. No hot water. Very dirty. The second room moved to had no hot water and a broken toilet seat.
Perfect location for seeing Havana.
We sat outside on the patio and watched Havana pass by - incredible. The staff were lovely, helpful and kind. Close to a bus stop and the University, also there is a small park adjacent to the hotel, to sit and soak up the atmosphere.
Can't think of any.
Großes Buffet. Gute Lage.
